REFUND/RETURNS POLICIES

We hope you love our brand and enjoy your products.  However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, we want to know about it. If you feel you wish to make a return, we have allowed 30 days, from date of purchase, to do so.  Please be aware the product needs to be unopened and unused. 

Before you return your item to us, please email us at contact.thedetailist@gmail.com and provide us with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address;
  • The order number or till receipt number, as proof of purchase;
  • The item description you wish to return;
  • The reason you wish to return the item.

Should you have changed your mind about your purchase and no longer want the items, the request must be received by us within 30 days of purchase and the goods must not have been opened or tampered with in any way and all labelling and packaging must be in its’ original condition. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or has missing parts cannot be considered for refund.

Upon receipt of the above information, we will confirm whether the items may be returned to us for refund.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of the following types of purchase:

  • Gift cards;
  • Goods made to your specification;
  • Goods which have been clearly personalised (e.g. by being engraved);
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery.
  • Services provided
  • Sale items; only regular priced items may be refunded.
  • Online Courses 

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift when purchased and the order shipped directly to you, your refund will be made as a gift certificate to the original purchase value of your returned product. Once the returned item is received, the gift certificate will be (e)mailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, the refund will be made directly to the gift giver.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and that your refund has been processed. The refund will be applied via your original method of payment. Please allow 7 working days for the payment to clear through the merchant systems and to arrive on your credit card or in your bank account. In the unlikely event that the refund has not been received in this time frame, please contact us at contact.thedetailist@gmail.com

Faulty or Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged product in your order and if you notify us within 3 days of receipt of delivery, we will replace the item.  Under these circumstances, please email contact.thedetailist@gmail.com and advise of the particular problem with the product or delivery package together with your full name and email address and the order number or till receipt number, as proof of purchase.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for paying return shipping costs and we recommend that you use a tracked shipping service as we will not be liable for refunds of items that do not arrive at our offices in perfect condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please return your item, properly packaged and suitably protected from damage.

Finally, this policy is for customers who purchase directly from Thedetailist.co.uk website or one of our social media shops. If you purchased your products from one of our stockists, please contact them to learn about their exchange or refund policies.

 

Refunds/Returns for Digital Products/Online Training

This is the Return and Refund Policy of The Detailist Ltd (www.thedetailist.co.uk)

Please read carefully.

 

  • We do not issue refunds for any digital products such as online training and E-Books once the order is confirmed and the product is sent.
  • Please understand that all sales are final and not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
  • The Detailist cannot confirm your skill level or learning style prior to commencing our class, therefore no refunds will be given following the purchase of any of our online training.
  • By confirming your purchase upon checkout you are agreeing to the final amount of the purchase price at that time.
  • When sales are running you are responsible for entering the discount code in correctly. If you do not process the discount code with the sale, no partial refunds will be accepted.
